About
I'm Rob Barrett. My background is in software engineering and technology leadership, working with software and data-intensive systems.
I'm interested in the relationship between the technology we build and the teams that build it: how we make decisions, work through complexity and create software that is useful.
At the moment, I'm exploring AI-assisted development and what it means for engineering practice. That includes experimenting with tools, questioning their limits and understanding where they can help.
This site is a place to share what I'm learning, through practical experiments and writing about software, AI and engineering leadership.
